We're engaged! Jan + Feb 2019

While skiing at Copper mountain, Joe proposed at the top of a mountain! It was absolutely perfectly *us* in every way. After saying yes (of course!), and kissing his handsome face through the tears and ski goggles, we headed down to the base of the mountain, where surprise #2 was waiting for me: our parents! Joe had them fly in from IL to help us celebrate. I cried more happy tears, and then promptly drank as much champagne as I wanted to all weekend long.

We are so grateful to have found Ivywild Visuals to take some engagement photos of us. I really wanted some professional photos before a baby bump started showing, so we quickly contacted them to see their availability. Thankfully, they were able to get us scheduled quickly - AND take the photos in the most beautiful place. Hiking in heels was well worth it. Also, a huge thank you to Taylor Phillips for doing my makeup and making me feel oh so pretty :)
Here’s an understatement: I cannot wait to be married to my very best friend. The sweetest, funniest, most patient man I’ve ever met. I am so eternally blessed with him.
